Introducing NIBBLES!

Sharp minds need a steady diet of inspiration, conversation and nutrients.

As a studio-first company, we have lots of conversations with each other every day.

The conversations that happen in in-between moments are important ones. They are the ones you can’t replicate online.

It’s the things we learn while we’re making coffees, the ideas we share over food that often shape ideas and relationships.

NIBBLES! formalises that process a touch. It requires one of us to start and curate a conversation about a topic we’re interested in.

There’s no hard and fast rules. Bring a presentation or don’t. Ask questions or spend the whole time talking.

We’ve found plenty of benefits to carving out a little bit of time for this every month. Like:

  • It’s a great way for people to get used to holding space for discussions and facilitating conversations
  • We get an insight into each other
  • We learn interesting things
  • This discussions often end up shaping later work

FOOD! and NIBBLES! – that's just greedy

The idea for NIBBLES! fell out of our public facing event FOOD!

Well, more accurately, FOOD! was supposed to be a small internal gathering… until we got excited by the idea and invited more people along.

So once FOOD! got off the ground with a talk on happiness and one on storytelling, we turned our attention to brain food just for the team.

NIBBLES! happens on the first Monday of the month around the studio kitchen table. We’re going to turn each into a blog post, so you can join us on our learning journey.
